Same thing happened to me.  It takes roughly 20 seconds (or more) just to get the window to type the reply.  Same thing logging into the forum.  It seems to take forever.

EDIT:  I checked what Altenbach suggested..  I do not have any subscriptions.  Wow.  I can't imagine having the forum run slower with subs!  Yikes!!!

Check the "Subscribed Threads" tab. The default operation of the forums (I believe) is to add a thread to that category when you respond to a message. All that I've done so far is to change the option altenbach mentioned to "None", and I'm just seeing how things work. I periodically clean out the Subscribed Threads, but am not doing it yet to only change one thing at a time.

Hi All,

Keep me updated about whether this suggestion helps.  I also feel that performance is slower than usual, though it's very hard to pinpoint.  We are taking steps to actively monitor performance and Lithium is also aware of the issue.

Today's speed is normal.  1/2 sec to get a page.  no time to sip coffee..  😉

After deleting about 1800 subscriptions, I can report that the performance is much better now.

The "strange" speed changes also affect other areas for me, such as the HW section.  Yesterday, it took forever to browse thru some PXI cards.  Now it's ok.  I'll blame my PC.. 😉

Hi,

What I have noticed that the Select Board control can take the value of the last board you posted from. This is particular to the boards where you are forced to make a search, as as the labview board. ( see my previous post 72 of this thread).

Now I get what you meant in this post.

I never even noticed I was posting to Breakpoint.  I "assumed" that the question would be posted in the active forum where you did the search, as it used to do in the past.. 

As I was saying earlier, it might explain the surge of posts in the wrong forums..  Look at me!  Deuh.. I posted in the wrong forum..
