Timmar,

The number in the top section of the Kudos icon will increment.  The whole page does not refresh.  One thing you might try is disabling "Enable Live Updates" in your Forum preferences.

Thanks,

Laura

Alas, No Success, Therefore no Kudos from me (only because I can't)

The inability to give Kudos is not related to Firefox...  It is related to how your company blocks pop-ups, spyware, cookies, and other similar mechanisms, which includes giving Kudos.  I have the same problem at one particular customer site, using Internet Explorer 7.

I can give kudos with IE, but not firefox at work. Surely it would make no difference whichever client I am using?

Just installed Firefox (latest) since I was not able to give Kudos from the client site, and often could not send the reply.

I can now post, but still not give Kudos.  I suspect it is the pop-up blocker that prevents giving out Kudos..

Anyone seeing a similar issue?

I just tested kudos on your post above. I am using firefox 3.0.5 at home, This is a standard install of firefox with no add ons. FF inbuilt popup blocker is enabled.

I have exactly the same setup on my pc at work, the only difference I can think of is that it is behind the firewall. I can;t post kudos in FFat work, but I can in IE

This is really bizare, but at least it's not just me, eh

I am now using the same version 3.0.5.  I just tried to give you a Kudos, but it kicked my to the first post of this thread instead..  😮

At least I can post...  IE just dies and tells me that there is a virus on the webpage..  << talk about strange >>

an Update to this thread...

actually, Laura's suggestion to disable (remove checkmark) for "Turn on Live Edits and Updates" worked.
