I noticed this morning that the higher level boards show total posts and new posts differently rather than in two columns? Is this a change?
Let me register a vote that I don't like this new appearance. Previously, it was easier to scan through the top level board looking down the New column to see if any boards had non-zero new posts. (or some boards where I have a magic number in my head that if it is larger than that number, I know there are new posts.)
Now, scanning through it, the # of new posts gets lost since it is intermingled with the total posts and the world "NEW".
I feel like this is one of those changes made for the sake of making a change, but doesn't have any improvement to the forum. It is actually a detraction.
Another negative is that it makes each row just that much taller meaning you see fewer rows at a time within the screen.

To add to how this is worse: "NEW" is an attention grabber and the "NEW" is there even when there are 0 new posts. So this feels like I am getting a lot of false positives. I'm with Bill here: 2 columns is much better.

I'll third the complaint. The new design is harder to use and doesn't seem to offer any benefit.

Thanks, everyone for the feedback. This change was been removed and you should see the number of NEW posts in a separate column once again.
