Previewing post drops attachments

I have noticed that people often claim to have attached a file, but it is not present in their post.

The cause, I suspect, is that clicking on the "Preview Post" link clears the contants of the attachment box.

Any chance that can be fixed so it retains its entry?

Yeah, I noticed that, be was able to edit the post and attach my attachment..... be annoying

This is a great suggestion.  It is something we have on our list.  Unfortunately, I don't have a timeline available for you.
