OF course everybody should attend the event currently mentioned on the temporary second line of my signature. 🙂

EDIT: I take that back. I did some color checking on the pixels of that font and it isn't very dark green. It is a dark grey. I guess the presence of green elsewhere on the page made me think it was a dark green.
I think certain text was quite green for a while (e.g. quoted text while composing and other). A lot of things changed around during the maintenance and it sometimes looked different on different computers. A force refresh (Ctrl+reload) often brought things back into sync.
Thank you everyone for your feedback. While the larger changes are done, there are many adjustments that we will make over the coming weeks.

The footer you see below every NI page now covers a whole FullHD screen in my browser (at 100% scaling). I think this size also has doubled compared to the older design.
Do you really need such a big footer?
Things are still being modified, see picture from two different browser tabs: No obvious difference in size efficiency.

I guess the upgrade is now complete, but there are still little bugs. For example the download button on the community edition page, the button text is not visible unless I hover over it.
If you see these types of issues, please use the "Site Feedback" link in the footer to report the issues. This makes sure the issue is seen by the right team.
Thank you!

Hi Christian,
@altenbach wroteIt's all optimized for touch screens, phones and tablets.
On my phone that popup to advertise the upcoming event covers the whole screen, with the button outside the view. No way to scroll, no way to accept that popup. Only way is to reload the page!
Not so "optimized for phone"...
(It's like those overlay ads nowadays banned by Google Responsible Ads...)

I can cope with the dropping of National Instruments, but think they should have kept the blue - I am not digging the green.
I really liked the old eagle logo with its use of negative space - but its obviously not flat and boring enough for this modern world. While the old homepage could have be improved I feel the marketing team has overshot the mark a bit. It doesn't appeal to my engineer personality as I can see through marketing. (Look at this new 14 bit ADC - its got two extra bits over the 12 bit one - that are both noise!)
Would like to know the reasoning "decisions behind the design" for such a drastic brand change.
But what would I know? - I am a programmer: from a comment in the Actor framework.... "Remember, one good graphics designer is worth 10 programmers trying to do art.". I better get back to my code.

Is that binary? So 2 programmers? 😆

@RavensFan depends on your definition of "good".
