There's a lot of SPAM in various community groups (NI Developer, NI Labs) - should I Report Abuse for every message, or is it sufficient to do that once and a moderator will see the others as well?

I normally report one message stating that the same user has spammed other boards as well: this is usually enough.

Well, it is more than one user here and several different boards.
I guess one report is sufficient, but maybe add links to all the affected community groups and explicitly mention that there is a barrage of similar spams.

Hi everyone,
It's sufficient to report one post and in the comments field write in that the user has spammed multiple times or in multiple places. We always do a sweep of the community to check for spam that the filters didn't catch, but reports like that can help focus our efforts.
I do apologize for the inconvenience that the spam brings to our community members. It is a major concern for our team, and we do have measures in place to combat the spam. But with spammers frequently changing their tactics, we often have to readdress our long term solutions. So in the short term, you may occasionally see moderation turned on for the community as explained in the blog post here: Temporary Spam Moderation Measures and Email Notifications
Thanks for understanding.
