The LIST

That was the purpose of the History and Activity files I included last week. But nobody felt that the infos here were worth a comment 😞

Actually, I was so moved by it, that I restarted my efforts in making a VI which will graph the different numbers overtime. The main problem was the fact that columns are added and removed over time, but I worked on it a bit today and hopefully (only hopefully) it should be done this week. CC, if you want to take over it and do it, just say.

Hi tst !
Glad to see that you didn't give up with your graph project! Of course I have no intention to take over it : keeping the list alive and improving the way the data are retrieved is already a lot of work.
May be I'll change the column number each week to keep you busy, just to delay the inevitable issue 😞

Hi everybody,

Please disregard the last List file. The new file take into account 27 new members.

Try to have a look at the way NI and non-NI members are distributed as a function of their activity.

tst, don't worry, it's just new lines, not columns ! 😄

Wow,

I just realized that both Christian and myslef are gaining on Dennis.

I think this easy to understand. LV is fun.

One more comment.

There is due to be movemnet at the top.

Altenbach only needs 13 more ratings to move into second place on the total number of ratings list.

I would think that this will happen this week or next.

Let us cheer him on so he can start his run on Dennis!

OK. Here is the graphing VI (Backsaved to 7.0. I will post a 6.1 version in a few days). It is consisted of 2 main VIs - The first does the graphing and the seconds imports data from a new data file.

Because the file's structure has changed over time, I have decided to load all the data into a single file and to keep it there. This means that whenever a new file is posted, you need to load it into this file. At the moment there is no code for adding new columns, but this can be done manually. I've included a file with all the data from E6 to E16.

For several reasons (ease of use, not all people have windows) I have decided to import the files as text files. This means 2 things: you need to save the files as tab delimited in Excel and, unless CC changes this, you need to delete the CRs in several of the column headers because they cause the file to misinterpet them as the end of the first line.

This isn't fully debugged, and it is a bit messy, but it should work. If anyone has ideas for improving this, feel free to do so and post the results.

And one last thing. This is for CC.

Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha, I love that ! Really !

However, I think you made a small error here : Nelson is notably stupid, and prefers usually to use brute force rather than intelligence.

I sincerelly (;))hope that you didn't identify yourself to him ! 😄 😄 😄

Coa everybody !

And again here is the last List update !

No new member in this week issue. The most significant movement at the top is JPD losing two places as a result of my fight-to-death with tst, who incidentally learned that frogs were able to jump.
Seems also that Ray temperature is rising. Don't know yet if it is a seasonal variation, some mug complulsory envy or the fear to be crushed by the incoming storm, but he has been increasing steadily his activity these last weeks (0.38, 1.5, 3, 3.7 r/d).

The sprinters of the week are CC, Dennis and tst, followed by Altenbach, Ray and Ben. However, as I told you last sunday, something is new on the NI side, since there is a bunch of 6 NI Enthusiasts just behind. And if you look at the best Evolution scores, you will observe a nearly uniform blue wave at the top.
Do you think some of them have taken seriously Ben's challenge proposal ?

Two Q's

What does "Coa" mean?

Did you mean to say "the LAST List"?

Thank you for the new list CC.

Christian came within one rating of tieing my total number of ratings this week. It should happen this week. Please stay tuned.

The race between CC and tst is rather exciting to watch. At the current rate you two should be crossing into the 1K range with a month or so.

May the best thing win!
