The LIST

Yes, that's what I thought you'd say, but I didn't read the entire bible in hebrew.
I did read many parts in hebrew, but I was referening mainly to the name "Satan", something which does not necessitate reading all of it, but simply being aware of that topic.
You're right, hebrew (like it's relatives, arabic and arameic) is a difficult language, because it's not based on the same root the european languages are. You could say the same thing about russian, japanese, chinese or any other "different" language. To a point, german, italian, french and spanish can also be hard for the english speaker.
It just so happens that linguistics is an interest of mine (and I must say the language it took me the least time to learn was G).
Although I admit this is a good theory and therefore I'm not denying (or approving) it.

Croack again !

Still expecting the release of the official NI Hall-of-Fame, here again is the latest issue of the Enthusiast List.

What's new this week ?

The breathtaking fight between the frog and the rabbit is not over. Although the frog maintains some comfortable advance, there is still a long way to go before crossing the real 1K limit. And the humble frog should not forget the sad story of her friend the tortoise who lost the race against... HeHo, wait a minute... nooo... the rabbit was beaten there again !...

Suddenly woken up last week by CC breeze through, Ray came alive just in time to stay out of reach of the cruel biting rabbit. With some more effort, he could reach the 1K limit a head before tst. Do you think he could be too feeble for that ?

Now you know who were the sprinters of the week.

Two months ago, I made a rought comparison between the Blue and Gold teams. Remember ?

...............................Blue..........Gold
Enthusiast number.....144...........227
Replies....................24899.......51544
Ratings....................4129........11419
Stars.......................18742.......52316
Replies/member.........173.........227
Ratings/member........28.7.........50.3
Stars/member............130..........230

The situation has not changed a lot but the new results show a significant evolution :
Enthusiast number.....175 (+21.5%).....259 (+14.1%)
Replies....................30789.......57916
Ratings....................5051........12911
Stars.......................22916.......59332
Replies/member.........176.........224
Ratings/member........28.9.........49.8
Stars/member............131..........229
The Blue team scores are improving, while the Gold team results are declining...

The most interesting result here is that 3 constants can be defined :
The number of replies/member is a constant : while each Enthusiast accumulates an ever growing number of replies, new comers keep the average constant with their low scores. Same for the ratings and stars numbers.
Could you (un)validate this theory ? And how could we use these "constants" ?
Challenge : build a LV program that simulates this behaviour...

Enjoy...

Hi CC

I saw something in your list, that confused me a little. There are two guys with an evolution over 200 (Lul - 227, Albert Geven - 342).

What made me think if this could be right is the fact that both have a zero in the replies/day (last week) - column. In addition to that Albert Geven has a zero in the replies/day (last month) - column.

So now I ask myself how could these two guys climb up over 200 ranks if they did not reply last week?

Is this ok or did I just misunderstand something?

1/ The List is perfect
2/ The List has always been perfect
2/ If, for some highly improbable reason an error was detected, please refer to articles 1 and 2.

You are right becktho, there is a bug in the list. I noticed that yesterday, after posting the file, but I had no time to track the pb down. Did you notice that Dennis break score had been doubled (from 2 to 4...)?
That's not an error, it's the right value, obtained after the correction of a previous bug. I think that while I made a correction there, I created a problem elsewhere.
Now I'll have to suffer your complains, and tst sarcasm.
Poor frog...

None.
BTW, aggressive was in english and it wasn't my word. I was just quoting a non-fellow non-knight.
And another BTW, what makes you think I'm jewish?
Or american?
Or a rabbit?
See? This thread IS turning into another enthusiasts 2...

Dear tst.

How wonderful it is to constantly teaze you.. Your b-f must love it.. 😉

I don't buy your slip... being the linguistically-interested person that you are ... 😉
Jewish?? Nothing wrong with that.. I wish I know more Hebrew.. I used to be able to say "You are pretty" in Yedish (spell??). That was many years ago... long story.. 😄
Oh... what makes me think that??? I think Ben covered it rather well.. Thanks Ben!!

American... that goes without saying... Ooops... I think the rating for % americans who like canadians just went down to 13%... 😞

A rabbit? For sure... A female rabbit, that is.. -- drool -- 😄 😄 😄

E2?? ??? -- ???

😄

Woman?? Definitely.. Oh yes.. Without a doubt.. Either that or "extremely happy".. LOL!!! 😄

>>>> I'm gonna get slapped for this reply, aren't I??? <<<<<
