I have reported that you have started to see this behavior again.
My apologies for the bad experience
Thanks,
Laura

I've recently been seeing strange behaviors as well.. I must admit I have been away for a while, and surprised to see the following behaviors:
1) VERY ANNOYING!! I start to type a message and before I finish the first line, the cursor goes to the Twilight Zone.. I have to click on "Browse" to get it back. I also saw the message being posted as soon as I hit Enter, to go to the next line...
2) The last 2 page numbers are very close together, in the image below, it appears that there are 45 pages, whereas it only has 5 pages.
3) The green color for the accepted post spills over to the body of the message.
4) This one is interesting, the CANCEL and POST buttons are over the Browse button. Both Cancel and Post buttons do work.. Well, the Post button works.. The Browse button that is overlayed does not work.

I just read the other Ray(F)'s post on topic 1) above, here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/Feedback-on-NI-Discussion-Forums/Post-Message-entry-window-problems/td-p/132...

Hi Ray,
Sorry to see all of those problems! That is very annoying. I couldn't tell from the screenshots what OS/browser/version combination that you are using. Could you please let me know?
Thanks,
Laura

I've seen that cancel post buttons being misplaced for quite awhile whenever you need to add a 2nd attachment. But usually doesn't bother me because it's rare that I need to click to add a 2nd attachment.
The post problem issues are still around for me with either XP/IE8 or Vista/IE8. And the misplaced links seem to be getting further away from where they are supposed to be over the recent weeks. So far their are 2 choices. Turn off compatibility mode and deal with the occasional, but worsening, misplaced links. Or Turn On compatibillity mode and have to fight the autosave feature taking away the cursor every minute.
Both problems seemed to have started at that last upgrade about a month ago.

XP/IE8 & XP/IE6
I just got an unexpected error message "Exception ID: 70CC3129" when I clicked on the Quote button.
I suspect that last update is not all that stable 😉

Thank you all for your replies. This experience must be very frustrating and I apologize. I currently have different issues open for the different items. Combined they make the forum experience quite unpleasant in IE8 so I will be attempting to raise the severity of these issues.
Thank you again for your patience.

Ravens Fan - I see the bad formatting issue with compatibility on. Is that the case for you or is it really with compatibility off?
Edit: Also I just double-checked and the autosave problems happen with compatibility on, so if you see the same behavior as me hopefully you can use IE8 with compatibility off for now.
Also, I was expected the autosave bug to be fixed soon so I will double-check on that.
Thanks,
Laura
