Who's been messing with the formatting?

Ravens Fan - I just tried to reproduce the autosave issue in IE8 with compatibility on and off. Both times I could not get the problem to happen. I know there were some updates made last night so would it be possible to check today?

Thanks,

Laura

HI Laura,

A busy week at work and PC problems at home have kept me off the forums the last couple days.

Here is a screenshot from tonight still showing the problem on my work PC. (XP, IE8)  You can see at the top that compatibility mode is off (the coloring of the button matches the adjacent ones), and it also shows one of the worst cases of misalignment where things are completely jumping to other lines and overlapping each other.

A resize of the window does fix things.

It appears that the problem has gone away, just logged in with Firefox, looks "normal again"

Whew!

Still messed up this morning. Also seeing things not lining up properly on IE8, as others have noted.

Yeah, my excitment was premature. Still messed up in Firefox and IE6. In IE6 alignment issues, in Firefox no formatting, as shown in the OP. :-(

SCRATCH THAT!!

This is the 2nd time it happens..  Firefox 3.6.13 with Win XP.  If I click on anything else, such as Help>About and return to the message being edited, I cannot type anything anymore...

Other than that, I was about to write the Firefox was fine... but it is not..

Well, my problems are on two networks (actually three, Friday I was at a Kinetis training seminar and had problems there) work and home, so it isn't any work "filtering". Three browsers, IE6 & new Firefox at work, WinXPPro. IE 8 and new Firefox on personal laptop, Win7. IE has different formatting symptoms, text entry area small, "send" button across 1/3 screen. Firefox looks like original post. I've cleared history, cookies, etc. Even deleted FF install on personal laptop and reinstalled. This being done on a iPod running Safari, looks ok.
