chance of rating a post more than once

Did anyone have ever experienced like this?

In a thread where i had some discussion with mike and saverio, I gave ratings to both of them immediately now and then when they posted. By a chance i just visited that thread and saw still i can able to rate that. How it was possible?

When the forum get re-booted it forgets what you rated. The new rates will count against the average of the post and sometimes bump the count of the original poster but after you have done it three times the total does not always increase. It depend on wha mood the forum is in that day.

The ability to re-rate a post is my primary sign the forum was re-booted.

Maybe this maybe the case for me.....

[Edit: I mean to say that due to that action happened couple of days before  , i think the forum get re-booted  and hence giving the chance for me  to toss the people 5  again.....
