Sorry, it seems to be such a simple question...
In the previous forum settings it was possible to have the Web site automatically refresh/reload in certain time intervals; now in the new version it seems to me that I have to manually refresh the Web page in order to see if a new post has appeared - and I couldn't find the option to set the autorefresh value in my profile settings...
If I missed it: where can I find it? And if its gone: this would be sad...
Thanks, Wolfgang

It seems there are some options that has been removed from the Preferences section (say "Live updates" and many more). Expecting a quick and positive reply from Laura.

Hi Wolfgang,
I did not realize such a feature existed. So whatever page you were looking at would refresh automatically? The only "automatic" setting I see is one that will automatically mark posts as read after a certain period of time. Is there any chance that is what you are looking for? It's in My Settings - Preferences - General
Thanks,
Laura

Hi Laura,
thanks for your reply. Well, I am pretty sure (not absolutely) that there was a setting allowing to refresh the forum page in a certain time interval, and if I remember correctly I had chosen a value of ten minutes. This was a nice feature because it was possible to keep the forum Web site somewhere in the background of the desktop and still realize if something was happening... Now I need to manually reload the page - which naturally happens much less frequently.
No, I am not referring to the mark post automatically.

I support wolfgang here. I had the same settings previously. Only the forum main page and the LabVIEW board page in separate tabs will refresh for every ten minutes and all the other tabs (IE8) of the NI forums will not refresh. I missed this setting now. After few minutes, the session got expired and we need to login again.

Would the auto-refresh or lack of explain an Unexpected Error?

Thanks for the feedback everyone - I will make a suggestion to Lithium about the autorefresh setting.
