language matters

Hi everybody,
I'd like to point to a problem (or at least, it is a problem for me....).  I've noticed an increasing number of oriental languages and spanish posts on LabView board.  I think forum moderators should take actions to encourage people in using english, or use localized boards.  Note: I'm not english-speaking, so I have to make an effort to write/read on this language, and most of the times I'm limited by my poor vocabulary, but I think the more universal the forum is, the better way it can increase comunity strength and knowledge.

So please, post in English! Smiley Happy Or try to post in 2 languages, as sometimes I've tried to do.... it can be useful to poor vocabulary people like me, and at the same time can be help other people.

I usually don't mind if the Q's are in other languages.

But ANSWERS.... Smiley Wink

that's another story.

Okay! Smiley Happy

But now, seriously: I found strange that to a chinese question you find an english answer. The contrary is worst, of course!

I should confess: I'm quite afraid that in the future, chinese/korean/japanese will be the preferred tech languages! Smiley Tongue That's why I support english language when italian colleagues complain about the fact that now all the datasheet are in english, and not in italian!!!!!

PS.: my english is quite poor, but not so poor! I've noticed a mistake in my above post: "can be help".  I meant "can be helpful"... Smiley Sad

I think if you post to the forums, then you should try to post in english.

Graziano,

No need to apologize for the "accent" in your written english.  I find your postings very easy to understand.  Besides, I know I couldn't type a sentence of poor Italian if my life depended on it.

Well, Graziano, if you do decide to post in your native Italian, you'll have at least one person who should be able to understand you. Smiley Wink

Thanks! I know...   I also know there's a really good italian community (ILVG), but I prefere a world-community for online posting! Of course, local community is comfortable if you decide to physically  meet!
