message numbering error

Hai andrew,

Have you seen such strange screen once or repeatedly? i can view the link you sent very normally without any such numbering. Maybe if you are using internet explorer, then, as the page was getting loaded, you can even see some other strange behavior. I also faced some strange things like this. Am using internet explorer 8. Try refreshing the page. Things will become as usual.

I'm using FF 3.0.3.

And browsing to this page got me: msg 1 2/2, msg 2 1/2.

After this post: msg 1 3/3, msg 2 1/3, msg 3 2/3.

Really very strange. So you are seeing this odd behavior in all the threads, am i right? Confirm it and if so then laura will have to reply for this.

What do you have your "Linear Format Message Sorting Order within Threads" preference set to in your profile?

I've noticed this once as well, although I don't see it now. IE7 and the default oldest to newest sorting.

It seems that the "Linear Format Message Sorting Order within Threads" displays incorrect numbering when set to "Sort by threading" it seems to start with message 0/total or total/total, the second page's first displayed message also has faulty numbering.

When set to "Oldest to newest" the numbering is like expected for that option.
