missing posts in my Tracker...

Hi,

I noticed today that some of my post won't appear in my tracker...
I often use my tracker to see which of my posts have been answered to, and this is tha very first time I notice that a post is missing...

Why ? can it this be fixed ?

Maybe the tracker stopped displaying threads which you started?

So I started noticing something along these lines at the end of last week.  I thought perhaps the forum wasn't being indexed that fast because the threads that did not show up in tracker were within approximately one day.  I don't know how often the forum is indexed by Lithium.

I will look further into this issue this week and let you all know!

Anything new on this, it is really getting annoying!

Clearly, first posts of threads are not indexed right (or at all). For example, it is not possible to find new threads knowing the username. Look at the following thread:

User srinathv does not show any posts at all, yet started two threads:

http://forums.ni.com/ni/view_profile?user.id=76105

Many later posts by other users, e.g. my reply, show fine in my tracker.

Hi Altenbach,

I reported the bug, but haven't heard back.  We have a conference call tomorrow so I will be sure to reiterate that it's a high priority for our community!

Could you  please take a baseball bat with a spike in the end of it to the next meeting with the Web people.

Beat on them hard that this "missing posts" issue is a problem that must be fixed!

I can ship my baseball bat right away if you don't have one at home

I use my post tracker every day to see which of my posts have been answered to, so if I can't see questions I posted myself, it becomes a nightmare !
(and no, I don't want to activate the mail notification ! I go to the forums when I have time, not every time a reply is posted !)

Well, with the time you know it takes NI to ship certain items to you, how long do you think it will take the other way?
