I typically use ctrl-click or shift-click to quickly open links i a new tab or page.
As of today, this no longer works at all here. Shift-click or ctrl-click on any link here in the forum re-uses the current tab. This is very unproductive and useless.
If I am reading a long thread and quickly want to see the details of a user or of a linked thread, I now lose the current page and going back is slow because the page needs to re-load. Often I need to see several thing side-by-side. I cannot be corralled to a single tab when using the forum! Dysfunctional squared!
Please roll back whatever changed. Thanks!

Sorry, just noticed that it has been discussed. (under a not really obvious subject line... ;))

A workaround is to "right-click...open in new tab/window" but that's slower and requires more precise mouse-control..

Well hey now. It IS a change in behavior in the way the tabs in the browser are working! 😉
Another work around is to do a scroll wheel click. I'm trying to train my muscle memory to do that but clicking the mouse wheel with my index finger feels unnatural.

Hi altenbach,
The ctrl+click issue should be resolved, please let us know if you all are still seeing it!

Thanks. Also shift-click works again. 😄
