Hai mike,
I saw all the posts by that user. He got 3 stars for this post and another 1 star for a post in the same thread. So totally 4 no???
But in profile, its mentioned just 2.
How?????????????

Hi mathan,
he got in one post 3*5 and in another post 1*5.
so he has to post with stars and thats what you see in the User Profile.
Every post get an own average. And all post together is the overall average.
Example.
1post: 1*1, 1*3, 1*5 = 3
2post: 1*5 = 5
User Profile: 1*3, 1*5 = 4
Hope this helps.
Mike

Dear mike,
Now i understand.
So,
For that case i mentioned, he got 3 ratings for a single post, so 3*5=15/3=5 average --->1
and for other post 1*5=5/1=5 average --->2
So, here it goes... 1 and 2 finally gave 2 ratings with 5 average.
Am i right?

Yes, you can only rate once you have a certain number of posts.
So far, you have only 16 posts. I think you need to have about 50.

There's a very good reason for that. After all, I doubt that NI would want to have a former NI employee speak on a public forum and then have people think that user was speaking for NI, since the blue names are (supposedly) NI people.I was wondering was was up... I used to have a blue name, but when I left NI I couldn't get my old profile to work again.
