Can fieldpoint explorer be used to control a fp-di-301 module?

Hi, Just wondering if fieldpoint explorer can be configured so it can turn on/off fp-di-301 or one specific channel. Presently, we want to test our hardware (ie on/off switch for a pump), but do not have a working labview program. I'm just starting to play around with the fieldpoint explorer software and hardware we have on hand. I'm still searching NI's database. So far it sounds like we have to write a labview program with controls, to function as an on/off switch and not fieldpoint explorer.
Thanks for any advice/info that can put me on the right track. So much to learn, so little time.

With FP Explorer, click on the channel you want to change, right click and you can set the value.
Make sure you press the green arrow at the top of the screen first.
