In Compact Field point i am able to see the maximum I/O slots are 8 only. I have 12 I/O cards to be used with the Compact Field point. What i have to select.
whether i have to select 2 sets of CPU and Base or is there any extension module is available?.
Compact FieldPoint has 4 slot and 8 slot backplanes. There are no extensions. If you need more than 8 modules, you will need to use multiple backplanes and controllers.
