Does the combination FP-1001 / FP-CTR-502 work with configurable network watchdog /power-up values for outputs?

I am using a FP-1001 module, some FP-AI-110 modules and one FP-CTR-502 module in one bank. The sources of the FP-CTR-502 output channels are counter channels (mode toggle, reset off) which are controlling other devices. I tried to use the configurable network watchdog value and also the power-up value for some of the FP-CTR-502 outputs but it didn't work. I changed the modules (because of defects), worked in Windows 2000 with FP 4.1 in MAX, with the older FP 3.0 and tried also in Windows 98 - all the same. If I break the network communication nothing happens and if I power up the bank the outputs follow immediately (after reset cycle of the module) the counter
s. If I set the factory configuration checkbox in the FP-1001 configuration table everything works fine - outputs stay in that configuratin (after powering up) until first communication.
Does anyone have experience for the combination FP-1001 with FP-CTR-502 and power-up/watchdog settings?

On the [c]FP-CTR-50x modules, when the channels are in Toggle Mode, power-up and watchdog value are ignored. Actually, the Toggle Mode, Reset Off option corresponds to having the channel set with the power-up value set to off and the Toggle Mode, Reset On corresponds to having the channel set with the power-up value set to on.

The watchdog values will only be used when the channel is set to Discrete.
