FP-1001 suddenly broken

I have a FieldPoint FP-1001 serial communication module that was working fine, but is suddenly not working. All status LEDs are off, even the power LED, despite the fact that power is being supplied to the module (and some of the power LEDs of the connected IO modules do light up). The module was powered overnight when it stopped working, but nothing was being done with it.

I was wondering if there is any fuses inside the module that might have blown. Also, how does one open the FP-1001 to look at the circuit board inside?

Hello James,

It sounds like your controller may need to be RMAed for repair.  It sounds like either the entire 1001 module is not getting power, the LEDs are not getting power, or the LEDs have blown.  Please call NI's technical support at 866.ASK.MYNI.
