Field Point server intialization has failed FP Open VI. error code 32800

I seem to be having problems talking to the FP-1000 I generated a .iak file using FeildPoint Explorer V3.01 with no problems I can talked and get readings from my FP-AI-100 using the Explorer software but not any of the LabVIEW VI's.

Two suggestions.

Make sure the FP IAK file you select is the one you want.

Double check your names for typos! The strings must match EXACTLY! Case makes a differences. Look for trailing spaces.

I found out that when you have the Explorer software open and the .iak file that your using in LabVIEW is opened in the Explorer software, that windows only allows one application to use the COM 1 port. Once I closed the Explorer app. the LabVIEW VI began to work.
