Fieldpoint 4.0 and 5.01 in the same machine

Hello:

I had Fieldpoint 4.0 installed and running without problems in my PC before installing Fieldpoint 5.0.1, in order to develop Fieldpoint Systems with LabVIEW 8.2. After the installation of Fieldpoint 5.0.1 my Fieldpoint 4.0 VIs and configuration dissapeared!, and I need them back, I tried to reinstall Fieldpoint 4.0 but a message appears saying a newer version of Fieldpoint is installed.

Is there any way to have both Fieldpoint 4.0 and 5.0.1 in the same machine? I need them both since I have to maintain systems made in LabVIEW 7.0 and 8.2

Any help is appreciated.

I don't think that you can have two different versions of FP at the same time, but LV 7.0 should work with FP 5 (I have 5.0.0116 and it works find with LV 7.0).

I think that when you install FP you need to tell it which versions of LV you want support for, so if you will reinstall it and tell it to install support for 7.0 as well you should be fine.

The FieldPoint 5.0.1 CD will only install support for LabVIEW 7.1, 8.0, and 8.2.  Unfortunately, I don't think you will be able to support LV 7.0 and LV 8.2 on the same machine with FieldPoint.  It will require two machines, or moving the 7.0 system to 7.1 (or a higher version of LabVIEW).
