Hi,
We would like to know the frequency range and frequency precision of NI cRIO-9263. We want to generate a sine wave at 2 kHz and we need a frequency precision of 4-5 digit. So, we want to know if the NI cRIO-9263 meet that specification.
Thank you

Hi Inkspec,
To answer your question in simple terms, Yes, you can do what you are trying to do with the 9263. Please take a look at the operating instructions manual of the c-RIO 9263 for detailed spec [specifically look at page 11 where they talk about update rates]. The link to the document can be found below:
The maximum update rate for the 9263 running on embedded chassis with all four channels being used is 100KS/s => the maximum frequency component of the output signal is about 1/2 that value [acording to nyquist] => 50KHz
If you are looking for time domain information as well, then you would need an update rate about 10 times the max frequency content of the signal. Hence you will be able to output about 10 Khz if you are interested in the time domain information as well.
Hope this helps!

The best place to look for these specs is in the manuals for each of the modules. Below is a link to a page that contains the links to current documents about cFP modules <http://sine.ni.com/manuals/main/p/sn/n18:c,n23:1.1938>. Hope this helps.
Have a great day!
