How can FP2000 control FP1600?

I thought my FP2000 could read and write to my FP1600 using datasocket reads and the lookout protocol, but I can't get it to work. The attached vi works fine when run on the Windows host, but times out when run on the FP2000. What is the key to getting this to work? I know the access rights are OK. My whole system design is shot if I can't get this to function.

Hello, there:

The program looks OK and if it runs fine from the host PC it should run fine from the FP-20xx module.
Please, make sure that the FP-20xx module has the correct network settings to see the FP-1600 module.
If the settings are correct, maybe there is a problem with the firware files. Try reinstalling the firmware on the FP-20xx.
