I am not sure if I understand your question correctly or not. You stated that :
1) You, first have two of our control modules, the FP-1000(which is the RS-232 interface module) and the FP-1001 ( which is the RS-485 interface module).
2) You said you "interfaced it...and [saw] ... the field point modules in Field Point Explorer".
--This is good you should see them in the Field Point Explorer. I am assuming that you have your FP-1000(and its bank of modules) connected to your computer, and then a serial cable going from the FP-1000 to the FP-1001 (and its bank of modules). You should be able to see all the modules from both sets in the Field Point Explorer.
3) This leads me to your last statement "please tell me how to avoid this problem".
--As you can see f
rom your problem statement I don't know what your problem is.
---Please give us as us much information as possible so that we can help you with your problem as quickly as possible.
---Also, check out Ask an Engineer site. Go to www.ni.com/ask. You can send an email or it will give a toll free number that you can call and get priority support from an experienced Applications Engineer that is specially trained for the product in question. Thank You.
