I've got a VI that operated fine. I

needed to add a FP-TB-10 to my VI that was running a FP-AI-100. To add the FP-TB-10 I used another "Create Tag" where I assinged the Device name (FP-TB-10 @2) and the Item name (Channel0124) because I wasn't using ALL the channels and some were different.First I checked that the Names all matched, case sizes and spaces. But still I get the 32812 ERROR coming ot the new Create Tag for the FP-TB-10. I don't think its a com problem because when I used the Field Point software to create my IAK file all the channels were reading voltages and temps that I had connected to them. I scanned the NI web site for a while reading associated material on FP-TB-10 and how to set it up also the problems associated with the 32812 ERROR. I can't seem t
o fine anything that helps.

What I didn't know is that When I used the Channel0124 for my item name I didn't know that you had to create this channel in field point. I though that Channel0124 would call channels 0, 1, 2, & 4 with out having to write each one. In stead you have to actually create a channel called Channel 0124. Then set the channels that Channel 0124 will be using. Then this channel reverts back to each individual channel and what they were set up for. I hope this helps the I got to teach myself individuals out there that may encounter this problem.
