Problem with my remote panels closing

Hello,
I am running a large vi on my cFP-2020 and I am viewing the front panel through the use of remote panels. The remote panel will not stay open indefinitely. What is causing the remote panel to close? If I push the refresh button on my web browser the front panel is loaded again with no problems. It’s not a big problem, just an annoyance that I was hoping I can avoid. Thanks

Hello Dusty,

Your program is probably very large and complexe and its complexity causes the controller to sometimes go offline especially because you have so much data being transfered through the network. Try reducing the number of controls and indicators including graphs on your front panel.

Thank you SergesL for your response. Yes, my program is very large and complex and does contain a couple of different graphs. My project is still is the development phase and we need to have a lot of extra inputs. As long as the program does not stop with the loss of the remote front panel (which it does not appear to be doing) I think we will be fine.

Good luck with your project. Just remember that the controller considers web publishing to be low priority compare to embedded applications and will frequently go offline if needed to keep the critical parts of the program running.
