The FP-AI-100 can read up to +/- 36 Volts. You can theoretically, provide an offset to the signal and change the reference point (for example, add -24 Volts so the signal varies from -24 to 24 Volts). However, a better option is to use an FP-AI-102. The FP-AI-102 modules released in December 2001 (so they are not in the 2002 catalog) but the spec sheets are on the web. http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?cid=10832〈=US
The FP-AI-102 offers six voltage input ranges 0-20 V, 0-60 V, 0-120V, +/- 20 V, +/- 60 V, +/-120 V. The FP-AI-102 has the same resolution (12 bit) and update rate (2.8 ms) as the FP-AI-100.
