Hello rchaoua,
If you are using LabVIEW 8.5 you will need to install the FieldPoint driver from the Device Driver CD that came with LabVIEW. If you do not have this CD, you can download it from here. When installing the driver CD, make sure to install the FieldPoint driver and support for LabVIEW 8.5 under Distributed I/O.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I mispoke in one my previous posts. I do not have LabVIEW 8.5. I have LabVIEW 8.2.1. I checked to make sure the FieldPoint drivers were installed and they are. I was using a homemade x-over cable and decided to go out and by one to make sure it wasn't the actual cable and niether work (homemade or store bought). I uninstalled all antivirus software. That did not help. I have also tried the tried and true cursing and yelling at the module and that didn't work either. I am starting to think I've exhausted all of my options. I contacted Tech Support and I have tried most everything they have suggested. The only other thing I can think of is that the module is broken (right out of the box). If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.
Thanks.

RL,
I believe that I had the same MAX version you did. I was unable to connect and tried every option under the sun. I will post the update when I get home. That may help. If you refer to the previous posts in this subject they have some screen captures. I am not sure if they are helpful.

Hello RL,
To discover a cRIO device, you will actually need the NI-RIO driver, not the FieldPoint driver. Please check in MAX to see that you have NI-RIO 2.3.1 installed. If not, you can download and install it from here.
To check to see if you have the NI-RIO driver installed, please refer to Reply 9 in this thread. There, I show how to verify that FieldPoint is installed, but you should be able to follow the same procedure to check for the NI-RIO driver.
Once you have installed the driver, let me know if you are able to see the device in MAX or not.
