Where can i get fieldpoint VI's for Labview ( SUN !)?

Is it possible to control fieldpoint 1600 using labview on my SUN with ethernet? Where do i get the missing VI's for solaris?
Does it work, if the fielpoint explorer runs on a windows machine and labview on a solaris?
thanks

The FP-1600 uses an ethernet protocol that is proprietary to National Instruments. At this point in time, it is restricted to Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000) machines only. The FP-1000 and FP-1001 serial modules use a non-proprietary protocol known as Optomux. This protocol is documented in the FP-1000/1001 Programmers Reference Manual at http://www.ni.com/manuals .

There are a set of FieldPoint Optomux VI libraries that are posted at: ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/fieldpoint/LVFPOpto .
They are platform independant and will allow you to control the FP-1000 or FP-1001 using LabVIEW on any platform. The two librarie contain VI's corresponding to the Standard and Extended commands in the FP-1000/1001 Programmers Reference Manual mentioned above.
