Why too less Free Memory in my FP-2000

Hello ,

When I boot up my FP2000 it has the following memory:
Total memory 15955KB, Free memory 1284KB.

Why it shows too less free memory .I think free memory should be > 5MB.

Sounds like you already have an application loaded into the controller.  FTP in and look for
startup.exe in C:\ni-rt\startup\.  Another possibility is just stored data on the C: drive.

I checked in C:\ni-rt\startup\. there is no file .

Maybe some stored data on the unit somewhere?  Poke around with the ftp program
to see if you can find any large files or directories.

I believe the newer versions of MAX will allow you to erase the memory of the controller and
start over if you can't find the data.  Can someone confirm this for an FP-2000?  I don't have
a unit I can check right now.

Hello ,

Thank you for all who suggested me for this problem ,

Now it is working fine the problem was i installed complete firmware (including NI VISA and other) now i have only related to FP.

Now i can see free space around 6 MB.And it is working fine .

Now new problem is my program reads one DI  it is working fine in Windows but when i target it to RT it does't show.
