I have a cFP-1808 network interface connected via ethernet cable to two PCs through a network switch. Both of these PCs have identical hardware, both are running Windows XP, and they both are also connected to a local wireless network that is separate from the cFP system. Neither the cFP network nor the wireless network is connected to the internet. I am using Labview 7.0 on both PCs with the cFP. It had been running in this way for about three weeks with no problems. Now suddenly one of the PCs has an issue communicating with the cFP modules: Labview will show a pop-up window with a message that says that the FP Write.vi is unable to connect to the module on the network. However, I am still able to open MAX and see the cFP system as normal. The other PC was communicating normally with the cFP system. I tried turning the power to the cFP system off and on, and still had the same symptom. The same was true when I rebooted the problem PC. The only way I was able to get it working again was by disabling the wireless connection on the PC that had the problem. I have been unable to find a reason for this behavior, and I would like to be able to use the wireless network again on that PC (the other PC is still running fine with the wireless network enabled). Does anybody have any solutions or an explanation?
