cannot configure fieldpoint 2120. it is always saying the instrument is offline

we are using compact field point 2120 for a control system implemented using labview8. the IP addres of field point is displayed in remote systems tree. but the modules are not accessible. when we try to access it , it is saying the instrument is offline.

Hi,
It sounds like you have not installed the drivers onto the FieldPoint.  Have you formatted your FieldPoint controller recently and not reinstalled the software? You have to have the FieldPoint drivers installed on your FieldPoint before you can discover the modules.  Also the FieldPoint must be booted into normal mode.
