Hi russell-p,
What version of the FieldPoint Driver did you install? For LabVIEW 2009, you'll need at least NI-FieldPoint 6.0.5. Also, make sure that LabVIEW 2009 support is included:
Double-check that the FieldPoint VIs exist at [LabVIEW 2009]\vi.lib\FieldPoint as well.

I cannot find these VIs either...can't find them in the functions palette or in the vi.lib location......but I can see that the Fieldpoint 6.0.5 is installed in MAX

Did you install the Fieldpoint drivers after installing LV 2009?

Depending on version of LV, palettes in LV may be context sensitive. Try creating a project and add a fieldpoint target to the project. Right click on the FP Target in your project and select new >>vi. Now the FP functions should show up

How to add a fieldpoint to the project? I dont have a fieldpoint connected to my PC.
