How much difference in performance will I get if I use the fieldpoint strain gage analog input versus the scxi hardware?? Will I still be able to shunt calibrate?? I am looking at needing to connect 8 load cells and do some data acquisition and logging with the tag engine. It looks like fieldpoint would be much lower cost versus scxi.
The precision and accuracy would be the same. The difference will be in the number of channels and the speed of acquisition. SCXI is much better in both of these areas. Also, the FieldPoint strain gage module does not have shunt calibration.
