open field point

My application have a Vi called by VI server of the main application.
What is the right method for reutilize the tag opened with FP OPEN.VI?
Where i can find the specification for utilize the field point tag?

Could you give more information about your application? Is it a real-time application? if not, have you considered using Datasocket?

Hi,thank for answer.
My application work in serial Network with FP explorer 4.
It's not real time.
I have considered Datasocket but i fear it's a slow and full memory usage.
My question is what's the best method?
