problem communicating with FP-1000

I am using a Fieldpoint/Labview system for DAQ.  The fieldpoint system consists of a PS-4 power supply, an FP-1000, 2 FP-AI-110s and 2 FP-TC-120s.  The system was tested previously and all modules were working properly.  Now, I am unable to communicate with the FP-1000 from my PC (using MAX).  When the system is powered on, the LED on the power supply and the power LED on the FP1000 are lit, but the network and ready LEDs are not.  There appears to be no distribution of power or communication to either AI module or the first TC module, as none of the LEDs are lit on any of these.  However, the last TC module is receiving power because the red LEDs are lit for each channel.  I have tested all of the connections between modules and all are secure; not sure what else could be causing this problem.  Any help would be appreciated.

Interestig issue...

Have you tried to connect only one module at a time using the TB10 base that work with your last TC Module ?
I would do that to check if the problem comes from the bases or the modules.

No other ideas at the moment... Good luck !

Hello MSnyder,

You also should switch out the FP-1000 if you have an extra.  Also, a loopback test should be performed on your serial port to ensure that it is working properly.  Please check out this knowledgebase on how to do a loopback test if you are not familiar with it.  Hopefully one of the suggestions you have received will help you pinpoint the problem.

Thanks,

Laura
