FlexLogger displays this dialog message at startup when I select add a new project. No channel information is available.

My first troubleshooting step would be to check for missing drivers for your hardware.
Can you correctly see your hardware in NI-MAX? If you use the Test Panels in NI-MAX, do you see valid values on your input channels?
If everything is working in MAX, my next troubleshooting step would be to repair or reinstall your FlexLogger installation using the NI Package Manager software installed on your computer.

Everything seems to work but FlexLogger. I connected an M-Series DAQ and no difference. NI MAX can see the DAQ just fine. I will try a reinstallation.
NI Max to the LEFT - FlexLogger to the RIGHT

I am back to trying to use the cDAQ and simplifying the system. Sits at this screen for several minutes.
Then it displays this message.
This is a USB cDAQ-9174 that is one of the most common cDAQ in use. There is no erl.exe process running 😞

Sucess! Another uninstall and reinstall, several reboots, and FlexLogger is working. The difference was I downloaded FelxLogger again and this time it prompted me to upgrade NIPM and several packages.
Now works but would of been nice for it to work the first time.

After 15 years of unuse I want to use my PCI-6052E multifunction IO board again and SCB-68 Shielded Connector Block (sic). I have available a PC running Windoze 7. I have carefully (with many trials and errors and a bunch of reading) chosen FlexLogger 2018 (R2). I am using NIDAQ1551f0 driver for the PCI-6052E and I can see the PCI-6052E listed in devices when I use NIMax (17.5.0f0).
I get this FlexLogger error:
Flexlogger failed to connect to the logging engine...
I cannot find "erl.exe" anywhere on my hard drive. I cannot find "erl.exe" in Windoze Task Manager".
Help please. (It may not appear that I have been doing anything, but trust me, I have been busy trying to get this running for 2-3 days and I have worked my way through many errors so far.)
Thanks.

I have fully uninstalled one time and I tried reinstalling FlexLogger 2018 (R2) and the PCI-6052E Driver ( NIDAQ1551f0 driver) many times. The last time I allowed the pending Updates to be performed. This increased the errors, but still related to the missing "erl.exe" .
As I said, I am running Windoze 7.
Thanks,
