I have a cDAQ-9172 chassis that is not showing up in FlexLogger and so presume is not natively supported hardware, is there any way to establish a connection with this hardware in FlexLogger?
Thanks,

What C-series modules do you have on the chassis?
Edit: 9172 is not supported as per this page

Hi, thanks. Yes I saw that. I just wondered if there were any developed plugins that might’ve been written to address this.

Hi BenG3,
From what I can tell, it looks like an End-Of-Life notification was sent for the cDAQ-9172 chassis in January 2010, and software support was dropped for it in December 2017 in the release of NI-DAQmx 17.6 (which was before the first release of FlexLogger). Since the chassis is no longer supported in DAQmx, it would not be possible to add support for it to FlexLogger. I expect you wouldn't even be able to see the chassis in NI MAX.
If you want to continue to use the chassis, you may be able to use it in LabVIEW or other software if you install an old version of DAQmx on a machine, but since we install a newer version of DAQmx for FlexLogger, I unfortunately don't think there's any way you would be able to use it in FlexLogger.

Thank you Devin. Makes sense. It was all part of a development kit at colleague picked up, so it’s now easy to see why it was being sold off! Thanks again for the background, saves me wasting anymore time on it.
thanks,
Ben
