Hi Markus,

Wanted to let you know I’m also seeing this issue and I also have Sentinel One on my PC. I’m thinking it could be related to that application.

Hi,

I am also experiencing the same error with SentinelOne. Did you resolve it for yourself?

Best regards

Hi Marus,

The issue that you are having regarding the FlexLogger app launcher might be related to the Sentinel One as mentioned by the user @CFEARING01. I would recommend you to follow the following troubleshooting steps and revert back with the results:

1. You can try temporarily disabling your SentinelOne and then try lauching the FlexLogger. If the FlexLogger lauches correctly then you will have to whitelist the following applications for you to keep the SentinelOne enabled and for FL to run perfectly:

  • C:\Program Files\National Instruments\FlexLogger\FlexLogger.exe
  • C:\Program Files\National Instruments\FlexLogger\NationalInstruments.IoDataPef.Engine.exe
  • C:\Program Files\National Instruments\FlexLogger\NationalInstruments.UserAccount.Application.exe (for logging in)
  • C:\Program Files\National Instruments\FlexLogger\TDMS File Viewer.exe (for viewing TDMS files in Lite mode)
  • C:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem <Year>\DIAdem.exe (for viewing TDMS files when licensed) - be sure to add the year of FlexLogger version

2. This particular problem can also occur if the FlexLogger.exe is not placed in the default installation path. Make sure that you have the FlexLogger.exe file in the folowing path: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\FlexLogger

3. If the FlexLogger.exe is already in the default installation path, then try to perform a repair of the FlexLogger via the NIPM or remove and reinstall the software on your PC

Feel free to revert back with your troubleshooting results. I would be glad to help anyone in this problem to solve this issue.

Regards
