Problem with installation of g# with MACOSX 10.6

I have tried to install g# on my Mac but I get this message error:

Error 8 occurred at Set Permissions in G#Installer.lvlib:G#Installer.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  File permission error. You do not have the correct permissions for the file.

NI-488:  DMA hardware error detected.

Hi,

Ok. G# runs on Mac, that is for sure. The problem isn't G# itself, but permissions to install (actually just copy the files into LabVIEW). We did some changes in the last release 1.4.2 in the installer to make it possible to install it on Mac, where we successfully installed it on Mac.

Let me check this out again.

Hi again,

I had a look at it together with my Mac expert and it seems like we missed an update in the Installer required for Mac. Please replace the G#Installer.vi in your installation with the one attached in this posting.

Please let me know if it all works out and then I will release a new version of G# Framework including this fix.

Thanks Mattias, i was able to install G# with your vi. But now i have a problem with G#StarUMLPluginInstaller.vi because it cannot find registry:registry.llb

Do you have any idea how to fix it.

Hi,

Ok. Good, I'll try to release a real version of G# Framework with this issue fixed quite soon.

G# StarUMl is Windows only, due to the fact that StarUML is only for Windows. Not much we can do about that.
