Error 0xBFFA4001 software failure when initiating acquisition on NI-5102

Dear Support,

When running my software I recieve an error hex 0xBFFA4001 software failure at the niScope_InitiateAcquisition function. I understand this may be due to improper installation and configuration of the scope's software on my computer. I am using the NI-5102 PCMCIA digitizer along with:

Traditional NI-DAQ 7.1
NI-VISA 3.0
NI-SWITCH 2.1
NI-SCOPE 2.5

Using the test panels, the device works fine. Previous to calling the initiate acquisition function I call:

init
configure acquisition
configure vertical
configure horizontal timing
configure trigger digital
actual record length

Is there perhaps something that I may have not configured of configured incorrectly? Or, am I
using the wrong version of some software? Please let me know if you have any insight into this problem.

This might just be an installation issue. I would start off by trying one of the shipping examples to see if they work. You can also try the NI-SCOPE version 2.6. You can find on the Drivers and Updates page from ni.com/support.
