LV 7.1 crashes with NISCOPE

Hello,

I just bought a new computer, installed the NI-5112 on it, then installed LV 7.1 (including the NI-DAQ and NISCOPE software).  I am trying to run some old vis on it (written in LV 6.1) that use Niscope, but LabVIEW keeps crashing.  Anybody have an idea what the problem is.  I remember when I installed the same card on an older computer and was using LV 6.1 I had to follow a particular order of installation for it to work properly.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello Jerome,

I believe you are referring to this document. In addition, i would recommend making sure that you have the correct driver versions for your application. Since it was written in LabVIEW 6.1, you may be using old drivers. You may want to go to the old computer and take down the versions of NI-SCOPE, NI-DAQ, NI-VISA and the IVI Compliance Package.
