NI-9205 Unused Inputs

I am only using a few inputs on a NI-9205 16 bit A/D module in a cDAQ chassis.

 

Are there noise considerations from unused inputs floating and not tied to ground?

 

If so should all unused inputs be tied to ground directly?

Welcome to the NI forums!

Leaving the unused inputs unwired will have a negligible effect on your measurements. Best practices wiring, however, asks you to wire them to the COM pin.
