PCI-5124 compatibility with PCI-X (PCI eXtended)

Can I install PCI-5124 to PCI-X (PCI eXtended) slot?

It physically fits but I want to make sure it will work and not be damaged
when it is powered up.

Hey,

The PCI 5124 card will work just fine in the PCI-X slot, as PCI-X is backward compatible, hence you shouldbe good to go.
