Aaron,
1) Yes, I did unistall the previous programs as you indicated.
2) I then rebooted, and installed a downloaded copy of LabVIEW 8.2.1
3) I rebooted, saw the PCI 5102 board install iteslf, checked the board using MAX
and ran a test panel, which was successful.
4) At first I did not install the newer drivers you mentioned, and I received the error "The specific
niScopeDAQ or niScopeDMF dll could not be loaded" when I tried to run one of the
niScope demo programs (niScope EX Getting Started.vi).
I then loaded the ni-daqmx9.1.1 driver and the niScope 3.6 drivers as you suggested and rebooted. Then
when I tried running the niScope EX Getting Started.vi the vi came up broken, as described
in one of the earlier posts, because some of the VIs were "not executable."

Hi MSUM,
It looks like the error is still related to LabVIEW's confusion about where library files are. There are mentions of LabVIEW getting confused because of multiple versions of files. One more thing you could try would be to do a Mass Compile of the entire LabVIEW folder in Program Files to see if that fixes the issue.
Do you have a license for a newer version of LabVIEW or would you be interested in upgrading? My thoughts are that a different version of LabVIEW with newer drivers would probably fix the issue.
My other thoughts are to try to either (A) clean out all files and remnants of National Instruments software (including uninstalling, removing all files, and cleaning out the registry) or (B) trying an Operating System reinstall for a truly clean start.
Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions.
Regards,
Aaron
