Linx executable for Arduino not working

hi,

1) yes by standalone i meant exe application. the above posted VI was build as an exe application but it is not working

2) the arduino is connected to PC via USB cable for the led blink.

Put error indicators after each of the sub VIs and see what error is occurring.  This may help us to determine what the issue is.
