There is a bug in the Hobbyist Toolkit. Replace C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2021\vi.lib\MakerHub\LINX\Private\Device\Utilities\Packet Number.vi with the version attached.

Hi, Comporder 1. I would be interested on understanding a bit more about such bug solution. Unfortunately my version is 2020 and I cannot open your file to check it.

Could you please, save it for a previous version?

DDuff discovered the fix/workaround and does a very good job of explaining and giving pictures in message 7 of this thread.

I spent hours trying to get my Mega to work! Thank you! I hope they fix that delay in their VI's permanently. Its sad on the "easy" example I could not get it to RUN! I was this close of giving up and not using LabVIEW
