Hi Austin LV UGM Community,
Now is the time to start considering what we might want to see at the next Austin LabVIEW User Group Meeting. (Please note – this is a different user community from the LabVIEW Architects Forum).
Please give your input on what you might like to see. If one of these topics was your idea, and you would like to provide a short description, please feel free to do so. If you have additional topics you would be willing to present, please throw them out here so everyone can consider them.
Current List of Possible Topics:
- Code Reviews – show a section of code you’ve developed, for feedback, guidance, and discussion from your fellow developers
- Overview of the Concept of TLB (I believe a design pattern – please provide a description if this was your idea)
- Technology Highlights from NI-Week 2012 (Travis Ferguson)
- CLD Preparation
And, for our newer users to LabVIEW, is there a particular concept or technology you’ve heard about, but still do not understand its value or when it is useful? Mention it here, and we’ll see if it makes sense to describe/discuss.

There is always so much going on at NI-Week that it is easy to miss something. So, this is always a good chance to review some of the major new features of LabVIEW, and discuss with the group how they might be useful.
